We stumbled across this place by chance after a walk in Porthcawl and fancied a bite to eat. We ordered the fish, chips, and mushy peas, which was incredible value for money, especially at under £10! The portion was generous and more than enough for us both. I also asked for a sauce recommendation and the staff suggested the Irish curry sauce, and wow, it was AMAZING. So glad we tried it!
A gorgeous fish and chips in a light airy immaculately clean, restaurant overlooking Porthcawl seafront. Staff were also lovely with my little girls and great baby change facility!
Some of the best Fish and Chips I've had in years. The Haddock was firm and flavourful. I thought chips were chips until I came here. I can't put my finger on why but theirs were just better. Highly recommended
Really great fish and chips! Was going to eat in however opted for a takeaway after realising it worked out £5 cheaper per person. Good value, really good packaging for eating in the beach and a nice clean indoor waiting area. Couldn’t ask for anything more and completed a nice morning out surfing.
By far the best fish and crispy chips I’ve had in recent years. The cod goujons were divine, light batter, delicious fresh fish.
Very very good experience and professional service. A lot of people appreciate the taste and aspect of the food here and even is a big queue most of the time the service is pretty quick. Not sufficiently organised around with places for eating to seat dawn properly but the drinks can be taken from the near bar and enjoy immediately your fish and chips. We found parking cross the road (we were lucky) but there are choices around if you can’t find a parking spot there. The area is really nice for walking. Very good prices and quite large portions. We bought one large fish and chips for two people and was enough. Enjoy your experience.
Come to this fish shop everytime I’m in Porthcawl it is the best by far and all the staff… Olivia, Ava, Vienne, Evie. They were fabulous really polite and very hard working. They serve with a smile and bring a lovely atmosphere. I highly recommend this place and the food is amazing… 🤩
Definitely try the classic fish and chips paired with mushy peas. For something different, the vegan pies, especially the Bountiful Butternut Curry, will impress.
